In 2015 I was presented with the incredible opportunity to purchase a candle business. As an artist and candle lover, I saw a chance to integrate my artistic background into candle making.

I'm told by those closest to me I have the nose of a blood hound. My first mission in taking on a candle company was how I could integrate the significance of our olfactory sense into our candle experience. What does a candle do for me? What do I want my candles to do for my clients?

Through many years of purchasing, burning and making candles, one thing always grabs my attention. What does this smell remind me of? When I was a little girl my mom would burn candles all the time. The fragrance would linger through our house and in her hair. Fragrances of patchouli, sandalwood and herbal flowers. This treasured memory became central to my business.

After 6 years of candle making I became very ill and had to make the difficult decision to sell my business and prioritize my health.

It's nearly 3 years later and I'm launching my new candle business "Kiss My Wax," the name of which was inspired by my attitude throughout the hardships I've faced over the years. And my passion for this business has allowed me to persevere. 

My vision for candle crafting is to awaken treasured memories for you and provide you with something that inspires you on your journey. Kiss My Wax Candles are hand crafted in small batches using clean, sustainable ingredients. It is my daily journey to provide you with the very best candle burning experience.
